What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about working in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ years of experience in orthopedic and outpatient physical therapy (training provided for motivated candidates).
- Experience with workers’ compensation injuries and industrial rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
- Associate degree for Physical Therapist Assistant
- A state license or certification required
- A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Position Details:
Full-Time (30+ hours/week)
Schedule: Flexibility is a key part of our culture. While hours may vary week to week, we work collaboratively to create a schedule that supports both patient needs and your work–life balance.
Location: Split your time between our Cedar Rapids and Hiawatha clinics, with on-site visits to local companies for ergonomics assessments and injury prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and follow-up visits in-clinic or on-site at company locations.
- Document patient progress through accurate evaluations, progress notes, and daily notes.
- Provide injury prevention education and techniques to companies during on-site visits.
- Perform ergonomic assessments of workstations to ensure a safer working environment.
- Help manage patient care workflow, maintain quality service, and ensure a safe work environment for patients and staff.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards and stay committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.
